Pressure jetting is an effective way of cleaning a variety of surfaces. It is ecologically friendly, causes very little inconvenience, and a minimum of mess. It is mainly used for exterior surfaces but is ideally suited for factory/warehouse floors, etc. Tall buildings/structures can be accessed by scaffolding or a hydraulic lift.

Brickwork
Pressure jetting is ideal for cleaning and removing pollution staining, traffic
film, moss, algae, etc, from all brickwork, adjusting the pressure to suit the
softness of the brick. It is suggested this kind of cleaning work be done
before any repointing as it will dislodge any loose mortar making repointing
easier. Used in conjunction with a brick cleaner, pressure jetting can also
remove mortar stains and splashes. -
PAVING
Paving slabs, brick block paviers, and concrete, are particularly well suited
to pressure jetting, coming up like new. Moss, algae, and lichen, can make
paving very slippery when wet, but these can all be washed away leaving
the surface so clean there is nothing for them to re-pollinate in.
Occasionally, even newly laid surfaces are found to be slippery when wet.
We are able to treat such surfaces to solve this problem. Chewing gum can
be a real nuisance when it sticks to the soles of your shoes, and it looks
very unsightly, but this too can be removed by pressure jetting. -
PAINT/COATING REMOVAL
Hot pressure jetting, in conjunction with a paint/coating stripper, can
remove paint and coatings without damaging the underlying surface. It is
also a useful way of cleaning up paint spills. -
STONE/CONCRETE
Used in conjunction with a stone restoration cleaner, this is the perfect way
to clean all stonework. -
TARMAC
Although tarmac cannot always be returned to it’s pristine condition,
pressure jetting is still the best method of cleaning it. Dirt, grime, and moss,
can be removed leaving it clean, but tarmac has a natural tendency to fade
and discolour and it cannot always be returned to it’s original state. -
TEST TRACK CLEANING
We are able to remove rubber from test tracks in preparation for
recalibration. -
STERILISING/STEAM CLEANING
Turning the temperature of the jetter up above boiling and running a
sanitiser through the machine makes pressure jetting a most effective way
of cleaning outside areas to a high standard of hygiene. Loading bay areas
of supermarkets, large bin areas, etc, can attract rats if not kept clean.
Pigeons’ guano is another major health hazard. -
VEHICLES
We are able to offer an on-site vehicle cleaning service for fleets of vehicles
providing there is a designated wash-down area available with a water
supply. The outside of tankers, tractors and trailer units, and the inside of
the trailer units, are hot pressure jetted off in conjunction with a traffic film
remover/sanitiser. -
MARINE
Hulls, decks, engine rooms, jetties, etc, can all be cleaned by pressure
jetting. -
SHIPPING CONTAINERS
Containers are the most useful way to transport all manner of goods. Over
time they can get covered in a multitude of dirt, grime, spills, and pollution.
We are able to clean their interiors as well as their exteriors. -
MACHINERY
Certain types of machinery can be steam cleaned off making them work
more efficiently and enabling servicing and repairs to be carried out more
easily. We can also offer Cryonimic dry ice blasting, an innovative,
environmentally friendly way to clean printing machinery, etc. No blasting
material necessary. No water. Dry ice pellets vaporise to carbon dioxide on
impact, leaving nothing but clean machinery. -
OIL & GREASE
Garages and factories can get really mucky with oil and grease from
engines and machinery. Hot high pressure jetting can transform a garage
workshop into a unit clean enough to be used as offices. -
INTERCEPTORS/TANKS
We can clear interceptors, storage tanks, sceptic tanks, wash-down bay
tanks, tunnels, etc, and are certified to offer confined space cleaning of
them. Our rotating nozzle attachments also make fast work of cleaning out
connecting drain lines. -
SMOKE DAMAGE
Apart from the obvious visual damage smoke from fires can cause, it also
leaves an unpleasant odour. Both problems can be washed away with hot
pressure jetting. -
SAND/GRIT ABRASIVE BLASTING
A more aggressive approach to surfaces than pressure jetting, abrasive
blasting can be used to key or remove more bonded substances, ie
removing rust/paint from steel work or keying-up concrete. Primer can be
applied to blasted steel work if required. -
ULTRA HIGH PRESSURE WATER BLASTING
UHP jetting is also available. Please contact us to discuss your
requirements.
